Bedrooms at the Venezia Hotel Prague are on the 6th floor of the building (lift up to the 5th floor). They are comfortable with parquet flooring and wooden furniture. Although officially a 3 star, we feel that this is more a hotel for travellers on a budget.

our opinion: The friendly and independent Cloister Inn Hotel Prague, once a convent, is now a quaint hotel fully refurbished in 2001 and that benefits from regular improvements and renovation by the owners.. It is situated in a prime location in the heart of the Old Town with Charles bridge only 300 metres away. All the rooms are bright and modern, decorated in a simple and cheerful way. Great service for a 3 star hotel with internet access and complimentary tea and coffee available in the lounge all day. extra information: Check-in from 14.00 / Check-out until 11.00.

The Bishop’s House Hotel 4*

General: The Bishop’s House (Biskupský dům) is a historical house in the heart of Prague, located in the Lesser Town, only few steps from Charles Bridge.  The hotels history dates back to the Romanesque period. Since the house was first built there have been a few re-constructions to the hotel over the centuries. One of the more major reconstructions came after a big fire in 1249, believed to be started by those rebelling against the King of that time. The present day appearance of the house, is the culmination of a long six year reconstruction of the 16th century building which finished in 1843. After a thorough and the most recent of reconstruction in 1999, the house has been adapted purely for hotel purposes. With an Empire facade, the guests will enjoy a comfortable stay in a genuine atmosphere of the past.

Location: Hotel is situated in the centre of the Prague Municipal Historical Conservation area – under the Prague Castle in the Lesser Town, about 60m from the Charles bridge. The closest metro station is Malostranska. Complete reconstruction of the building was finished in 1999. Most of the historical monuments and restaurants, bars with romantic atmosphere are in walking distance.

Location: From the airport, the easiest way to get to the hotel is via taxi or bus number 119 to the final stop of Dejvicka which is also an underground stop. From there, take the tube to Mustek. Once outside, keep walking toward the Old Town Square. The hotel is situated in the two corner buildings-corner of Zelezna and Old Town Square. If travelling by train, take the underground to Mustek and follow the above directions.
Bars and lounges: The lobby bar serves a wide selection of drinks, sandwiches and salads. The continental breakfast is also served here. Old Town Square Hotel is set in the heart of Prague in the Old Town Square. The hotel is set in a UNESCO listed building and is a small family operated boutique business.
Rooms: All rooms are very large and combine the old baroque exterior with modern design furniture. The room available for New Year’s eve and Christmas is set on the 3rd floor with wonderful views of the square.
Restaurant: Bily Konicek: The hotel restaurant is located in the Romanesque cellars, which date back to the 12th century. It serves a variety of Czech and International cuisine along with a wide selection of local and International wines. After dinner you can dance the night away on the small dance floor or enjoy your favourite cocktail. The restaurant was renovated with the aid of a European Regional Development Fund and the cellars, in which it is based, are considered the oldest preserved cellars in Prague.
