Gold Buda 4*

General : This family run hotel is perched on the corner of a steep residential street on the Buda side of the Danube. There is a small fee to park in the hotel car park although free parking is available in the neighbouring streets. There is wireless connection throughout the building. A very relaxing place to stay and a good choice for people wanting personal friendly service. (AHJ 10.08)

Location : Situated on the Buda side less than a kilometre from the stunning Gellert Hill and its statue of liberty, the Gold Buda hotel is just a short bus ride from the city centre and just a 15 minute walk from the famous Buda Castle. Overview: This second Starlight Suiten Hotel Budapest to be added to the city follows the same style as the original Merleg property. Although this addition is set in a historical building where many of the original features have been retained or restored, a contemporary style nevertheless prevails. Very good sized, bright bedrooms are all apartment style suites with a lounge area and a small kitchenette, perfect for those staying a little longer than usual in the City. Although there is no restaurant, there are plenty of dining options in the vicinity and staff are more than happy to recommend.
